30cm x 30cm This one took a fascinating turn in the studio. Instead of a big, sweeping explosion, the paint naturally split to create a winding, dark channel right down the middle. The fiery copper-oranges and mossy greens feel incredibly moody and rich against that deep black. It’s got a quieter, more grounded energy than some of my other pieces, but the closer you get to the canvas, the more you notice the subtle ways the colours resisted and wrapped around each other. It’s a striking, atmospheric little piece that is perfect for a space where you want something a bit more dramatic and earth-toned.
