Rooted in the rolling fields and open skies of rural Lincolnshire, I grew up as a farmer’s daughter, forever shaped by the rhythms and beauty of the countryside. That early connection to nature—its ever-changing colors, textures, and moods—has been a quiet companion throughout my life, even as I made my home in the equally enchanting landscapes of Suffolk.

For the past twenty years, Suffolk has been the backdrop to my family’s story. Together with my husband and our four wonderful children, I’ve embraced the gentle pace and simple joys of country living. The land, with its shifting seasons and boundless inspiration, continues to nurture both my spirit and my creativity.

Although I always felt a creative spark, for much of my life I doubted my own artistic abilities. It wasn’t until recent retirement that I stumbled upon the mesmerising world of acrylic pouring—a discovery that transformed my perspective and opened a door to self-expression I never imagined possible. What began as a tentative experiment quickly became a passion, and now, a joyful obsession.

Acrylic pouring has given me the freedom to explore colour, movement, and emotion in ways that feel both spontaneous and deeply personal. Each piece is a unique dance of pigment and possibility, echoing the unpredictability and wonder of the natural world I love. My process is guided by intuition and a sense of play, allowing the paint to flow and settle in its own organic patterns—much like the streams and wildflowers that meander through the countryside.
